HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay of a Thanksgiving post. We all had a really great day with lots of delicious food and family from all around. Layla has been espceially excited out the recent snowfall and loves to get out and about, so it made for a nearly perfect day.

Later that night though, we had a slumber party at Primary Childrens hospital due to a small infection in Lady's leg. The doc took good care of her though and sent us home with a happy girl this afternoon. All is well now that we're back home with our favorite toys and soft blankets. We'll just get some much needed rest in so we can hang some holiday decorations tomorrow. She's so excited about her own little tree that we put up in the corner of her room.

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and want to express out love and THANKS to our family out there reading along.

WHERE THE....???!!!

Where has October and November gone already!
Yikes!
Just realized it's the 8th and we haven't even sat down to write our update letters yet!
Sorry for the delay.
This week is insanely hectic week and some big changes are happening around us.
Shannon has been put in the Relief Society Presidency and is trying her best to learn the ropes.
Enrichment meeting activities, funerals, and more have consumed her this weekend.
And the bike shop is gearing up for it's big Black Friday sale and Holiday events.
Please excuse our tardiness.
We have NOT forgotten you! We never would.
We will attend to business as soon as possible.
And as always, make it worth the wait.
Hugs.
The Day Family.

We rocked the party for a full three days.... and then some. Kevin's mom always out does herself with D.licious food, drinks and such.  But it was well worth the work. The pumpkin show was fantastic - as usual.

These are only a few of the 109 punkins we spent a bazillion hours carving.

And what you're all waiting for.....
Here's Layla!

All the girl cousins were Fairy's. Custom made shirts, wands, head bands, and ankle ruffle cuffs.
Big girl pose
Showing off her shoes. Which is one of her favorite words to say

Everything was a blast - minus the super duper bad weather that put quite the dampener on our soiree. Costumes had to be concealed with winter coats and gloves. Layla tricker treated to about four houses before deciding to make the fans come to her. So we partied it up inside and waited for the entourage to arrive.  Dad and Lady provided a little entertainment for the party.

We - grown folks rocked the 80's.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
