ALMOST 2!!!

It was wonderful to hear from you all. Thank you so very much for your support and joy in our journey to bring Layla a brother. We hope you're all doing well and think of you so very often.

Where has time gone?! Lady bug is going to be 2 in a few weeks and of course we have quite the party planned! Just a few of the plans include a swim party, lemonade stand, popcorn stand, face painting, and a clown tying balloons at Layla's Birthday Carnival!
We'll share photo's and more of the 4th of July and then of her party!

Also, just to fill you in... Layla will be getting a baby brother come August! Shannon and I have been picked by another Birthmother, through LDSFS. We're so excited as is Layla. She walks around the house all day saying "baby brother".

We'll be posting a few video's of Lady Bug tomorrow. You'll want to see them. She's adorable. We can't believe she's almost two! Here's some of her favorite things right now...

*She can count to ten
*She sings.... constantly, all day long, in the sweetest voice, non stop, unless you ask her to sing on demand
*She can identify all sorts of shapes. Circle-square-triangle-heart-star-rectangle-diamond-oval
*She likes to talk in different funny voices and she laughs at herself
*She loves to make faces at herself in front of the mirror
*She still sleeps with her bum up in the air
*She says the prayer for our meals and at bed time
*She loves to "clean up" and sing the clean up song
*She made it through church nursery for the first time last Sunday!
*She knows the ABC's all the way through
