14 WEEKS!
Layla loves her new BUMBO chair. Still gets really tired after a few minutes of holding her head up but loves to be able to sit up and enjoy the view! Isn't that SMILE the greatest!?

TWELVE TWENTY NINE A.M
Layla is officially 3 months old. What a beautiful three months it's been for her. We will never be able to thank everyone who has been a part of her life with us. She is a miracle, from the first few rough days she spent in the NICU, to the plane ride to Utah and now to her 3 month birthday. An absolute miracle. She will always know of how cherished she is by everyone of you... no matter where you are. Happy 3 month birthday Little Lady!

Grandpa to the Rescue!
While attempting to get a family photo in our Longhorns attire (that we love so much). Miss L started screaming so hard that it sort of scared us a bit. She had been acting a little funny all day and even had a little cough that was hard to tell if it was just the beginnings of a giggle, or a legitimate cough. So when she was screaming during our photo we decided to call Shannon's dad who is a doctor. It's quite convenient to just buzz over to his house and he had a look at her. After his full exam and looking in her ears we discovered the poor buglette has a small ear infection. She wasn't too happy with grandpa using the otoscope in her ears... but she felt much better after a little tylenol and extra TLC. We'll keep a close eye on her to see if it takes care of itself before we start messing around with antibiotics. Nice to have a doctor in the family.... sad to have a sick bugaroo.
